Welcome to Southeast Area Blood Bankers

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Southeast Area Blood Bankers (SEABB). Our mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for the exchange of ideas, research, and best practices in the fields of Transfusion Medicine and Cellular Therapy. Our diverse membership includes professionals from hospital transfusion services, blood centers, reagent and equipment vendors, and medical schools throughout the southeastern United States, making SEABB a strong and collaborative professional community.

The 2026 Annual Southeastern Association of Blood Bankers Meeting is fast approaching, and we are excited to welcome several new speakers this year alongside familiar and respected voices in our field. Once again, we are pleased to offer P.A.C.E. continuing education credits throughout this two-day meeting. The program has been thoughtfully designed with presentations that appeal to both novice and seasoned blood bank professionals, including sessions focused on laboratory management and operational excellence. We hope attendees gain valuable knowledge that not only enhances personal and professional growth but also leads to meaningful improvements in processes and patient care within their own institutions.

Most importantly, our annual meeting provides a unique opportunity for networking and reconnecting with colleagues from across the Southeast. These interactions whether renewing long-standing professional relationships or forming new ones are central to the strength and success of our organization.

SEABB is also incredibly fortunate to have the continued support of our vendor partners. Their generosity enables us to offer exceptional educational programming while keeping meeting costs affordable for attendees. This year, we are proud to have a record number of vendors participating, and we are sincerely grateful for each and every one of them.

I look forward to reconnecting with old friends and colleagues, as well as welcoming first-time attendees during our time together.

Finally, this is your meeting. I encourage you to become more actively involved in SEABB whether by volunteering, serving as a delegate, or simply sharing feedback. Your engagement and ideas are essential to the continued growth and success of our organization.

Warm regards,

Bhavesh Delvadia MLS(ASCP)SBB
